ARCDBA.Road_Name5_Anno

The larger of two street name annotation layers designed to collectively identify public and private right of ways in Prince George's County, Maryland for small scale mapping purposes.

The Road_Name5_Anno layer is used for basic street name identification, and is not necessarily captured to optimal cartographic standards. At a point size of 54 and a reference scale of 1:2400, this annotation is placed in areas where space is not at a premium, along side of the right of ways. The sources for this annotation are primarily from the recorded plats and the tax account premise addresses. Each street direction, street name, and street type combination is unique to Prince George's County, Maryland and is maintained as part of the property dataset by M-NCPPC GIS staff.
