Abstract 
This watershed data was acquired from Prince George's County Department of Environmental Resources (DER). The boundaries were originally developed by a contractor working DER as part of the GIS based Watershed Planning System (WPS) prior to 2001. The WPS project was developed to quickly assess watershed characteristics and the potential impact of certain pollutants.

Purpose 
To display named subwatershed boundaries in Prince George's County, MD.
