2 foot topographic contours
Topographic coverage is derived from the digital elevation data taken March 2001. Index contours, intermediate contours are presented and index contours are appropriately labeled. COVERAGE DERIVATION: The countywide topography was interpolated using Surfer point interpolation software. The input files were variably spaced Lidar data that were re-sampled to produce a smooth 10 ft -by-10 ft digital elevation model (DEM) grid. CONTOUR CAPTURE SPECIFICATION Topographic contour lines were developed at two-foot intervals using Terramodel's contour interpolation module. The contour generation module automatically generates contour lines from the 10 ft -by-10 ft DEM grid points obtained through stereo-compilation. Index contours are generated at every fifth contour. Intermediate contours represent the four topographic lines between index contours. Intermediate and index contours are stored as visible lines in an ARC/INFO AAT file. The elevations for all contour lines will be stored in a three-position integer item called ELEVATION.
